Alexandra Hirsch is a sustainable designer, project manager and healthy materials design advocate who specializes in developing safe, de-carbonized, ecologically sustainable spaces. She has extensive experience working with an array of real estate clients including large-scale retail, high-end residential, and commercial workplace. She excels in project management, project roll-out's, and sustainability initiatives. Her diverse background has allowed her the opportunity to work on bi-coastal projects ranging from $500,000 - $10mm. This has afforded her on-hand experience working with different code and reporting requirements, city officials and local environmental laws.
She studied Interior Design and completed a certificate program on Healthier Materials & Sustainable Buildings at Parsons, The New School. Additionally, in May of 2022 she completed her Masters Degree in Historical and Sustainable Architecture from NYU-London. Her thesis focused on the adaptive re-use, and sustainable future-proofing strategies, of both new and heritage shopping centers in the UK and France. Specifically, Samaritaine, Jenners, Nottingham and Canada Water.
Having worked for herself, architecture firms, contractors and developers, her expertise stretches beyond that of a typical designer and project manager -- to a broader understanding of the principles behind building better.
